A British rescue boat had to "tame" a runaway speedboat at Teignmouth in southern England after the operator fell overboard and hit the gas throttle.
He wore a killcord, but it was not attached to the boat, so it spun around in the harbour. The rescue boat gained control of both man and boat. He wore a lifebelt and escaped the incident apparently unharmed.
